You're invited to join us for a special event, hosted by WellSprings Congregation on Saturday, November 9, 2019.

Dave Warnock will be traveling from Nashville, TN, to speak about the philosophy he calls "Dying Out Loud." Dave, a former evangelical pastor turned atheist, was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) earlier this year. After receiving the devastating news that his life would be cut short by a terminal illness, Dave decided to spend the time he has left traveling and speaking about seizing life's precious moments, and what it means to approach death as an atheist.

"Suddenly for me this precious and brief life became infinitely more precious and incredibly brief. Instead of succumbing to the depression, anger, and hopelessness this debilitating fatal diagnosis often brings, I immediately decided to begin “Dying Out Loud,” - living life to the fullest and making plans to travel as much of the world as my body will allow - seeing places I've never been to and spending time with people I know and love, while also experiencing the joy of meeting new people and cherishing the beautiful “moments” life offers to all of us."
