Hike at Jacobsburg State Park

Coming up next in our series of hikes is the centrally located Jacobsburg State Park. There are many moderate woodland trails as well as water and bathroom facilities.

I have not hiked this trail, but our friend Connie gives it rave reviews. Best of all, Nazareth is closer to our Easton and New Jersey LVHers who won't have to travel so far this time.

This is a moderate, wooded trail and should be a similar challenge as our last hike at Trexler Nature Preserve. It's about 5 or 6 miles and should take 3 or 4 hours at a leisurely pace. Afterwards, you can join us for lunch at nearby Miguels's in Belfast.

It's looking to be a great late-summer hike; hope you all can make it!
