With all that's been going on this really snuck up on us, but to keep our eight week schedule on track we're going to rush and have a blood donation event this Saturday. Apologies to those who would have helped with more notice, and thanks to those who are able to make it.

As always, to help out there is a pre-registration procedure that will make things go more smoothly. First, you should call Miller-Keystone at 800-B-A-DONOR (or log into www.giveapint.org) to get an appointment time between 9:30am and 1:00pm Saturday August 26th. Then, on the day of your appointment, go to their online screening at https://www.giveapint.org/iScreen and preregister (this is optional but will save you time). Finally, show up to donate at the scheduled time. Please give group code #7789 for LVH at the desk so your donation will add to our total. Walk-ins are also welcome, but it will take a little time.

After we donate we'll head across the parking lot to Penn Pizza for a bite. It's a nice place with outstanding food at a good price.

As usual, we'll try to cluster our times (around 11:00am or thereabouts) so as many of us can eat together as possible. Please post your appointment time in the comments on Meetup.com if you're able.
